Privacy policy

What we collect
PrɔX stores account and profile details you provide; group, friendship, trip, event, availability, contribution, expense, settlement, poll, and message content; attachments you choose to upload; and basic presence, device push token, and notification state needed to operate the app.
How we use data
We use this information only to authenticate you, coordinate private groups, deliver planning and messaging features, calculate shared trip balances, secure the service, and provide support. PrɔX does not sell personal data or use third-party advertising trackers.
Service providers
PrɔX uses Supabase for authentication, database, realtime updates, and file storage. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical data to deliver the service. Trip recommendations currently come from stored PrɔX data and are not sent to an advertising network.
Sharing and retention
Content is shared with the friends or groups you choose. Notification delivery uses Expo and Apple Push Notification service; camera and photo access stays under iOS permission controls. Data remains while your account is active or as needed for security and legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Privacy & account; deletion also removes data tied to your identity, including registered device tokens.
Your choices
You can update profile data, control notifications, leave groups, remove content where the app provides controls, or delete your account. Camera, photo-library, and notification access are optional and controlled in device settings.
